You can start the tour from Guatemala, Antigua Guatemala, Tikal or wherever you are in our country.
Endemic species (1 day) at Tikal, Yaxha, Ceibal, Atitlan, Quetzal biotope and Tecpan area are available.

Short tours

Cerro Alux Mountain (1 day)
The Blue-throated Motmot, the Rufous-collared Robin and the Blue-and-white Mockingbird are the stars of the travel.

Tropical birds in the Pacific slope
2 days/1 night (Los Tarrales)
At the Atitlan volcano lower part, the Los Tarrales private reserve is an old coffee farm which has become the most known birdwatching destination in Guatemala.
The Azure-rumped Tannager and the Long-tailed Manakin are the starts in the trip.

The trip has as a main goal to watch good birds with those who appreciate them and also offer great momments with those who love the nature and culture but not precissely have the same love for birds.
Let us give you an advice
Most of the time we expect the comunication with our birdwatcher clients to know exactly what their are looking for, many times some species, sometimes some experience.
If you are not birdwatcher but you are married with one, you should make the same. Maybe you are archeologist, then we will design parallel archaeological- birdwatching tour so you can share it with your parter.
You and your partner can travel together, and one of our specialized bird guide will take the birders to watch birds everywhere we go. Other specialized guide will take on charge the cultural, geographical and natural part of the trip with the non-birdwatching people
